Day 1

 DAY 1 - TASK 1

Lesson 1 was the heaviest in terms of content. We had to build a strong foundation so that you could slowly tackle all the tasks in this lesson. In this class, we focussed heavily on building your vocabulary and creating strategies to describe art (and pictures in general). In case you missed it, here are the materials we used in class today:

2. Here is the video we watched in class. Remember you can rewatch it and test yourselves as many times as you want!  

 

 As discussed in class, remember that when describing a painting, we can also focus on the image represented, the people and the actions that are being depicted. To describe actions we use the Present Continuous. Here is the grammar review on Present Simple/Continuous from class.
